Welcome to our children's book page.
Inspired by lived experience, our books are created to help children feel seen, understood and less alone. Through gentle storytelling, they encourage kindness, acceptance and important conversations about eating differently and embracing what makes us unique.
Our first book, The Tiger Who Eats Differently, is the beginning of that journey, and we can't wait to share more stories with you in the future.
The Tiger Who Eats Differently
The Tiger Who Eats Differently was inspired by Arlo's own experience of living with ARFID (Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder).
Meet Skip, a friendly tiger who loves adventures, wears his favourite yellow sunglasses, and never goes anywhere without his trusty rucksack filled with safe foods. Skip knows exactly which foods feel safe for him, but explaining that to others isn't always easy.
When an unexpected moment encourages Skip to share his story, he begins to explain what life with ARFID is really like—the foods he can eat, the foods he can't, and the emotions that come with feeling different. Along the way, Skip discovers that understanding starts with a conversation.
This book was entirely Arlo's idea. He wanted to create a story that helps children living with ARFID feel seen, understood and reassured that they are not alone. Through Skip's story, he hopes to encourage kindness, understanding and conversations about what it means to eat differently.
A heartfelt story about friendship, courage, self-acceptance and celebrating the things that make us unique.

"Brilliant book . It promoted my son to tell me
“sometimes I have no appetite and I don’t like wet food!”
"My daughter has ARFID, and while we were reading she asked to try a new food and a drink by the end of the book.
Seeing herself and her experiences reflected in a story opened up a conversation in such a natural, pressure free way."
"A beautiful book.
My young son told me,'It's just like me' ."
